Sydney-based Wholesale Central has won a legal victory against computer industry giant Apple. Wholesale Central sought to register a trademark for its DOPi range of laptop bags for Apple products. Trademarks registrar Michael Kirov has ruled that Apple does not have an exclusive right to use the letter "i" as a prefix for its products. Apple had argued that the DOPi brand was too similar to the name of its iPod music device
