ACLA National Mentoring Program - Shaping Today’s In-House Lawyers for Tomorrow
ACLA has launched a National Mentoring Program for ACLA members who are in-house counsel. The program aims to develop both mentors and mentees within the in-house legal profession - providing an opportunity for mentors to give back and gain fresh perspectives and for mentees to raise fresh ideas in a safe space, gain independent and objectives perspectives and enhance their skills and confidence.
About the Program
- Currently available to ACLA members in the Victorian, New South Wales and Western Australian Divisions
- Rolling out later in 2008 to ACLA SA Division and to other ACLA Divisions in response to member demand and the availability of a suitable pool of Mentors and Mentees
- Confidential matching of mentors and mentees
- Six month program with monthly meetings between mentor and mentee
- Structured but flexible format
- Specialised training program for mentors
- Program participants supported by Sue Zablud, ACLA National Program Advisor
- Resources provided for all participants

ACLA members are invited to register their interest for the 2008 program by fax or email as follows.
1. completing the Mentoring Program Registration of Interest Form and fax to 03 9642 4924
2. email your name, employment and contact detail with subject heading
“Registration ACLA Mentor Program” to mentoring@acla.com.au
