Avoiding ethical landmines - the role of the in-house lawyer and lessons from past scandals

During this seminar Matthew Knox will explore the following topical ethics questions:

    • What is the role of the in-house lawyer in helping an organisation manage ethics and integrity issues?
    • How can they help prevent ethical lapses and ensure potential lapses are properly investigated?
    • Are there lessons for lawyers from the management of high profile scandals?
    • How can in-house counsel use past scandals to convince stakeholders of the need for "performance with integrity" without undermining their own credibility with business units?
