    ABC of Government Law

This event is now full, please click here to be placed on a waitlist.

This popular event is aimed at new Government lawyers (eg. in their first five years of practice or new to Government) and introduces them to some relevant issues for government lawyers and also provides an opportunity for networking. Last year we had a great turn out for the event (some 50 young/new to government lawyers) and we are hoping this year will be even bigger and better. This year Dr Andrew Lu OAM (Senior Associate) will present on the topic of "Basics of the Tort of Misfeasance in Public Office" and Christine Plevey (Special Counsel) will present on "Legal Professional Privilege for Government Lawyers".

You will gain 1 CPD point under the Legal Skills and Practice category if you attend this event.
