ACLA's Election Policy Position Statement (July 2013)
With the Federal Election to be held in the not-too-distant future, ACLA has issued a Policy Position Statement to the Federal Attorney-General, Shadow Attorney-General and other key stakeholders.
The Policy Position Statement raises three specific policy positions for consideration:
1. Policy Position One – Call upon in-house counsel for a practical perspective on legislative issues.
2. Policy Position Two – Create certainty and clarity, with less red tape for organisations.
3. Policy Position Three – Create uniform regulation of the legal profession across Australia.
The Statement was compiled with the valuable assistance of ACLA's Advocacy Network (AAN). To read the full Policy Position Statement click here.
