    Visit the website of The Australasian Legal Information Institute for access to Commonwealth and State legislation and regulations, treaties, decisions of Courts and Tribunals and some secondary legal research materials. The website includes a search engine for the whole database, including statutory definitions, key words, and links to relevant case law, other legislation and secondary material. Access is free of charge.

    The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) is the world’s largest organisation serving the professional and business interests of attorneys (lawyers) who practise in the legal departments of corporations, associations and other private-sector organisations around the globe. With more than 26,000 members employed by over 10,000 organisations in more than 75 countries, ACC connects its members to each other, and to the people and resources necessary for their personal and professional growth.

    The Canadian Corporate Counsel Association (CCCA) The Canadian Corporate Counsel Association was established in 1988 as a conference of the Canadian Bar Association. It is now more than 10,100 members strong and growing rapidly.

    The Corporate Lawyers Association of New Zealand (CLANZ) is a section of the New Zealand Law Society established in 1987 to meet the needs of corporate and government lawyers. It has approximately 1,800 members.

    The Corporate Lawyers Association of South Africa (CLASA) was formed in 1982 to to promote the common interests of corporate lawyers in South Africa. CLASA currently has approximately 340 members (including corporate lawyer representatives of 50 companies and other organisations).

    Created in 1983, the European Company Lawyers Association (ECLA) is the umbrella organisation for 22 company lawyer associations in Europe and represents more than 32,000 individual company lawyers.

    The Hong Kong Corporate Counsel Association (HKCCA) was established March 2003 as the pioneer association representing in-house lawyers in Hong Kong. The association has approximately 600 members and is growing rapidly.

    The International Bar Association (IBA), established in 1947, is the world’s leading organisation of international legal practitioners, bar associations and law societies. The IBA influences the development of international law reform and shapes the future of the legal profession throughout the world. It has a membership of more than 40,000 individual lawyers and 197 bar associations and law societies spanning all continents. It has considerable expertise in providing assistance to the global legal community.

    The Indonesian Corporate Counsel Association (ICCA) was founded in April 2004 to increase awareness of the role of the in-house legal counsel within the business and legal communities in Indonesia.

    The Japan In-house Counsel Network (JICN) is an unincorporated professional association for in-house counsel working in, or having other affiliations with, Japan. Launched in 2005, it has over 140 members.

    The Singapore Corporate Counsel Association (SCCA) was established in 2002 and is the pioneer association representing in-house lawyers in Singapore.
